Re: Interactive map of Linux

Wow, thats neat!
I feel like the whole site is a great resource, as the map is only a small part and itself pretty impressive. There is a lot more on the kernel and GNU/Linux as well as development, tools...
Well, just have a look =)

I'd think that's not too hard to do, and he should remember the particular comic...

Re: Panoramic Video

If i remember correctly there were some news about a camera from sony, wich attempted to record a panoramic image by filming a spheric mirror. But that of course compares pretty bad ...

Re: Things few people know about you

Should i ever be able to (moneywise), i'd like to build my own House. From Wood, with my own hands, and in a really weird shape. Probably with a big geodesic dome in the middle with all kinds of towers, turrets and balconys attached to it. I stopped to tell people about it, except some really close ...

226 + 5 = 231

Re: Dubsteppin'

I've had an Idea for quite a while that i could like Dubstep, but i didn't look really into it until i bought a really good pair of earphones. I'm still discovering, and so far its turning out to be great =) @PhatPhungus: I have that feeling a lot with Music a la Green Day (just an Example, of cours...

Re: Neal Stephenson: Where to start?

Wow, thats quite some feedback, pretty cool :-) I've decided to start with Snow Crash, because this one is the only one that the bookstore could order, the other old ones weren't available, maybe eBay or Amazon will do the trick... However, tomorrow the book should arrive, and anticipation will turn...

Neal Stephenson: Where to start?

So, here's my problem: By accident i read about Neal Stephenson and his books. They descriptions all sound interesting, but assuming i got the bottom line right it's some heavy stuff to read, especially when you're not used to literature like that. Also the Cryptonomicon and the Baroque Cycle seem t...

Re: Help with loosing weight

Running will definitely help you, if you do it on a regular basis. Of course it won't do anything good if you run only one time a week until you drop. Continuity is important, like three times a week for half an hour. The other thing is that sport not only does help you with loosing weight, but it a...

Re: The Outdoors Thread

my activity of choice is definitely Rock Climbing and/or Bouldering. It's quite exhausting, and and also an intensive experience every time. I also like running, because it frees my mind from almost everything... Plus you can run in every weather, with a little preparation it doesn't matter if its -...
