Re: The drnuk thread

Hi. I stopped drinking five hours ago. I'm still drunk, hungry, and one of my friends is no longer allowed to introduce me to girls. He introduced me to a girl that led an unhappy life and has unrequited love for him. He stopped by her apartment three hours before she had to leave for work, and fell...

I think self-examination is what separates belief from indoctrination. If you adhere unquestioningly to an ideal -- without so much as asking why you believe the way you do -- congrats, you've been indoctrinated. If you're saying "There is a God, and that's that", then you're indoctrinate...

After my alarm clock went off this morning, I decided I wanted to sleep in a bit more. I reset my alarm and fell asleep immediately. I kept having dreams about my alarm clock going off and me being completely unable to find it. When I woke up for real, I found out that the alarm had been going off n...

I agree that you do get alot more out of playing the Pyro when you stop charging in. Chill out, check your surroundings, find corners and start nabbing people as they run in. This. It's possible to disrupt a stack of five or six enemy players if you can get in close before they see you. I've found ...

Some speakers work, but others don't? I think that's more likely a wiring problem than a radio one. I suggest taking apart one of the doors and seeing if the speaker is still hooked up.

Ones I liked: Memento: Teddy is the killer. No commentary, I just thought it was cool. Teddy wasn't the killer. He was using the main character to gank drug dealers and loot their corpses. The main character, upon realizing this, changed the clues so that he would think Teddy was the murderer a...

A 128 bit address now will hopefully stop us from having to do the changeover again. The biggest issue we have is that any change in bit quantity makes the two addressing systems incompatible, so effectively, what needs to happen is on a given date, everyone in the whole world will cease to use v4 ...

The Mighty Darkos. Donnie Darko: Tokyo Drift. Darko City.

I predict a decent film that would have less notoriety and more acceptance if it weren't forced to be a Donnie Darko sequel.

Jurassic Dark.

Miniature alarm clock, so you'll always know when it's Hammertime! What about making it out of a single piece of material? Given room to run in a wide circle, I could take out a decent number. My naturally longer stride and (hopefully) superior endurance lets me bait them into chasing me. Here's how I see the problem: 1) Hyper-specialization is usually the only viable long-term strategy. Five skills at 20 ranks are better than ten at 10 ranks, which are better than twenty at 5 ranks. 2) Hyper-specialization is possible . You can invest 20 ranks into a skill, and each rank is signific...
