Re: Graphics Tablets!

I have owned a Cintiq 21UX for a few months now and for me it's the best option, if the price tag is not a problem. I used to have a Wacom Intuos, but in my opinion a Cintiq is way better. With the Intous, I first drew on paper, scanned to my laptop, and then Photoshopped with the tablet. Which was ...

Re: Sexy Accents?

I love Lost's Claire's Aussy accent. I don't know if sexy is the word, but I do enjoy listening to her.

Also, I think it may be hard for a person to put their finger on what constitutes their accent...

Thank you Azrael! Not too confusing then, eh? You mean the plot could be clearer, the characters, the language? Please explain!

Re: So what other webcomics do you kind folk read?

Regularly, I read: ⋅ xkcd ⋅ PvP ⋅ PA ⋅ Sheldon ⋅ Cat and Girl (not regularly, regularly, but quite) ⋅ Dinosaur Comics ⋅ Hark, a Vagrant! ⋅ Starslip ...plus a bunch of Spanish-language ones. Occasionally, many others...

I'm Juan, a webcomic author (I'm also an Engineer, just not right now) from Spain. I love books, cinema, comics, the tubes, Peter Sellers, Miyazaki, Borges, Rube Goldberg and other stuff. I also love my new iPad, but that may be just temporary, as a way to justify myself for the bucks I put into buy...

Re: What would be the properties of an ideal language?

It depends on what you mean by "an ideal language". Somebody decided there ideal language would count each letter in the IPA as a different word so that each "word" in their language would be a sentence, now that would allow for very fast communication, but is useless in the rea...

The Pigeons' Rule - A webcomic

Hi there, Here's introducing my brand new webcomic The Pigeons' Rule , a three-days-a-week strip. It deals with the workplace, annoying neighbours and life in the city, but also with going up to your high-rise's flat roof and meeting all kinds of weird people. There's also a B&W/color dichotomy ...

Anything by Daniel Clowes would be a great choice, if you ask me. Someone else recommend him above. Not superhero-related, but still.

Re: What webcomics have you STOPPED reading?

Never really got into CAD. C&H I love, even though I don't follow it like I used to. Those guys are probably some of the most talented writers out there. I have been tempted to give up on PA, but I keep coming back, even though I'm not that much of a gamer. There must be reason for that, and I t...

Re: How would you make money off your superpower?

Superpowers: X-ray vision + Immortality

Appplication:
Step 1 - Use X-ray vision to scan the area for a coin.
Step 2 - Put coin in a long-term deposit.
Step 3 - Wait.

However crappy the interest rate is, you'd eventually become rich.

I haven't read that much of OotS, but I agree it's got a fairly high-level. Plus it's nice to have a plot. Not knowledgeable enough to discuss the plot with you guys, though.

It's pretty awesome to have the mind of a 5-year-old poured into a comic. Go, Malachai! Apparently, this went viral on January. Never heard of it, but I quite like it.
