WOW , talk about RGOOMH

my only half success at lucid dreaming were just this .

"hang on, that last jump was a bit too long, i wonder if it's a dream and i can just glide, WOHOOO" - too excited , woke up.

I have to side with the WTF neurotransmitters league. I mean, i was OK with star wars' FORCE being magic. the lame mitochlorins made the whole thing a farce. spinal fluid, ha, it would have been better if they had just want to vivisect Echo, and dropped the "physiological" resistance. also...

My voicemail says "hello?" followed by a 10 second silence and the message that I can't come to the phone right now. I've been abused for it in the past, but no matter how many times people fall for it, it's still funny to hear about it. Oh god, I hate those. Had an actor friend once who ...

There is an old saying that I strongly believe in; "Explaining a joke is like dissecting a frog... you can do it, but the frog tends to die in the process." I always attribute that to Mark Twain (instead of "you can do it" -- "you understand it better") (i attribute ma...

this joke translates very well, I've heard it in hebrew as "what would i want with an olive this big" (olive - "ZA - it" =~tr/t/n/ for the pun ) the reason is that hearing the joke, you keep expecting the sexual innuendo, and when the word isn't explicit, and you have to fill in ...

I just can't enjoy the comic knowing the axises are improperly labeled. Doesn't Randall know he'll loose points? is it a mistake that it says "a couple mistranslations" rather than a couple *of* mistranslations or is it an intended pun as the comic features a couple each of them about to undergo a translation (as in 'a change in the location') and the whole thing is more of a mistranslation than a tr...

in a quiet environment - tinnitus

physiological tinnitus (meaning it is normal, and not pathological) , is what everybody hears when it gets quiet enough. it isn't an illness, it is just your brain turning up the auto-gain when there's no other sound. it is a hallucination of sound, and most people don't notice it unless they enter ...
