Re: Disputing tuition fees

So, you took the classes for half the semester, and paid for that half, then you dropped the classes. I'm not sure why you think you shouldn't have to pay for the second half. (I know you won't get credit for them, which seriously sucks, but you're not finishing them so you're not earning anything....

Re: Disputing tuition fees

I did take and pay for the first halves. The DNE (Did Not Enter) deadline with refund was a week into the semester, at which point I still thought I had a journalism career ahead of me. I paid for 13 weeks of courses that won't translate into credits and now they expect me to give them another $650 ...

Disputing tuition fees

Hi all! I recently switched universities and I have $650 sitting in my student account for two-term courses I won't be completing because of my transfer. I don't have the means nor the intention of paying. I'm disputing the tuition fees and have to fill in a student request form. I'm required to &qu...

Re: Searching for an interviewee for a biographical piece

Have you considered checking the Member Interviews board? You know what, that's actually a great idea. I'll check it out tomorrow. How does your professor expect you to find strangers to allow you to interview them online? I honestly have no idea. The interviewee has to be a complete stranger and l...

[Done] Searching for an interviewee for a biographical piece

Edit: I found an interviewee. Feel free to leave me your name/e-mail for future interviews I may have to conduct. (My apologies if this isn't the right section!) Re: Sprechen Sie Deutsch bitte! [German practice]

I guess it refers to how the case is determined for objects following certain prepositions: auf + akk if there is motion involved, i.e. I hang the painting on the wall. auf + dat if there is no motion, i.e. The painting hangs on the wall. I haven't read Mark Twain's text yet but will do as soon as I...

Wow 8 miles is great! Wish I had enough stamina. Treadmill at 9.5mph and 4 incline for 30 minutes is the best I can do.

34.5 + 4 = 38.5

Edit: Arabascan.... how do you run 6 miles if the distance between your house and school is 2 miles? Shouldn't it be 4 miles total?

Thanks a lot for your input. The business would be aimed at college students. I'd love to widen the audience if it turns out to be popular and generates a reasonable income.
