Re: Firefly

Saffron is really really hot. A friend of a friend of mine looks a LOT like Saffron, and I showed her (the friend's friend) a picture of saffron and said "you two look a lot alike" or something to that effect, to which she responded something like "what, no, she's ugly" ...

Re: 126 Things Adam is No Longer Allowed to do at School

Good List!

I seem to remember my pre-calc teacher from two years ago (or was it the teacher three years ago?) saying that , alas, there is no Angle-Side-Side theorem? Or Am I totally wrong?

Re: June 26: SATs are back!

700 math
760 reading
730 writing (including a 12/12 on the essay)

thats a 2190 total. Not what I was hoping for. A 2300 would be wonderful, but realistically I was hoping for a 2200 or a 2250. Ill be retaking this...a 2190 just isn't good enough for stanford/brown/harvard :(

Re: May 3rd SAT

I took my SAT subject tests in May and got:

US History 780
Spanish 740
Math level 2 700 (If i had gotten a math score of under 700 I woulda retaken it in the fall, so I'm really glad I scored a 700)

Re: How far does high school math go?

My highschool offers both AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC (second year calculus), as well as AP Statistics. But I dont think most highschools go as far as second year calculus; mine is (supposedly) a poster-child from west coast education. =\ Sure if you're a jazz/drama star its the best but... uh...

My highschool gives out E's for failing, not F's.

The bar tender's hat appears to become transparent in the second panel. Interesting. Dont worry, it's just one of those newfangled hats which are transparent or not depending on what angle you view it from! I really like this comic, yes, especially the alt-text! My personal favorite pickup line tho...

My first reaction was actually "dang, its not a dude. So much for the romantic love story..unless...."

Otherwise, I feel like this must move the story significantly, obviously by introducing another character, but the comic itself doesn't seem too monumental...

I really think this would be better with two people playing each other; the fact that two people are hanging onto the board would also lessen the chances of the board flying off and decapitating someone (no matter how funny this may be).
