Seems to me that cycle of endlessly needing backup batteries to your backup batteries ends when the time between charges is less than the discharge rate of n batteries.

Since GLR is notorious for avoiding sequels - probably less than 1/100 of the Othercomics are sequelish, I'd say - Oh, I don't know... he's done quite a few series in his 1-4 panel comics, so he's not at all averse to sequels per se. Time OTOH took a lot of... er.... Tim. I doubt he'll do a Time n!...

I used to use EditPlus. Maybe it wasn't the best (regular expressions were lacking) but it was so easy and useful.

Sublime is good/ok. I couldn't get started with Atom.

I've only dabbled in vim. Really I just don't know about it.
