Re: 1033: "Formal Logic"

I have a bumper sticker that says "My dinosaur ate your Jesus fish". I like it because the people I want to understand it can. Whereas the problem with this bumper sticker is that the people who are honking the horns (I'd imagine) don't understand formal logic.

Or alternatively, why did the hairy a-hole become less of a whole before falling in the hole?

If it helps, "Sexy and I know it" (the referenced LMFAO song) is basically a total spoof of the modern music scene. It's bad on purpose. Y'all can stop hatin' now. It is? ... If what you say is true, I just gained a lot of respect for LMFAO. I just watched the video for the first time ton...

Edit: Oh and I'm Aussie for what it's worth (though I generally listen to my ipod or Triple J)

In my household, if you said
Can you pass the salt?

That would be met with an answer of
Yes, yes I can.

followed by a lack of passing of said salt.

If you actually wanted it passed to you, you had to ask "Will you pass the salt to me?" or "Please pass the salt to me."

I have a rather cool porn name, Rusty Stoker, especially since I have red hair. To bad I didn't realise the potential for this career during university.
Also, Mr Rogers isn't universal. I had heard of him, but only because I heard him referenced previously and googled it. It's an American thing.

Just make it clear whether you're talking about the letter or the letter. That could clear everything up.

Highly unlikely since letter and letter are both letter now.

Let me ask you this then, does this page http://forums.xkcd.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=24599 say Zero Punctuation or eighty bajillion punctuation. Because on mine it displays eighty bajillion.

Edit. Does it on my ipod aswell, so I highly doubt it's just my computer.

What's with the numbers changing.

A lot of my posts (infact I think all of them) keep having numbers change. For instance if I write one it comes out as half - two. If I write zero it comes out as eighty bajillion.

It's really annoying and very odd.

PS. Also this comic reminded me of a Steven Wright joke. "I own a map of the entire country that's life size. In the corner it says 1mile = 1mile. When people ask me where I live I say E5. Last summer I folded it." ALSO. This comic really needs a "Not to scale" shoved in the corn...

Also, the Wikipedia disambig page for "H0" describes it as "H + letter zero", so take from that what you will. What the heck is a letter zero? Is that the letter O or the number 0? Now I'm even more confused. You mean to tell me all these years there's been a letter zero? I just...

It is also worth noting that many Christians limit themselves to the Gospels or to just the New Testament for theological reasons: they don't particularly care that 1 Samuel 15:23 says that rebelliousness is as bad as witchcraft, or that Exodus 22:17 says witchcraft is a capital offense, because th...
