Re: 2016 US Presidential Election

I understand that there are many places in the nation with lower housing costs, but the massive concentration of technology jobs in areas such as Silicon Valley or Seattle means that moving elsewhere usually requires getting entirely out of the computer/programming industry and finding a completely...

Re: Police misbehavior thread

Is the "best evidence" in the form of things like audio recordings made at the time, or is it all stuff people have said in the months since? Wilson didn't file a detailed incident report at the time, iirc, so if there's not actual hard evidence, the change looks an awful lot like after-t...

Yeah, I just hit max level, so I haven't really got into a grind for items, but the loot drops really aren't what bother me. Doesn't seem like the system would lend itself well to a ton of loot drops because they aren't very varied in first place, and you have to use a weapon to unlock it's upgrades...

I'm happy they're trying to make tanky junglers better, since tanks are generally what I prefer to play. Rammus remains probably my favorite champ, and I've been having a lot of fun with Warwick recently. Looking forward to see if Nautilus and Sejuani are helped by the new item at all.

Yeah, I think I would have rather they left Nidalee with poke. I think poke can be interesting strategically. I just think it also shouldn't exist with sustain, or on an extremely short CD, or on a champion who has one of the best escape kits in the game. But I think they change they made is 'easier...

I don't think she was really nerfed, just reworked. She still does a great deal of damage, just not from stupid high safety. The new spears are laughable with how little damage they do though. I only had to lane against one once and it was miserable. Her early damage is insane, and she seems great f...

It's hard to recommend the bundle without first knowing that you're at least going to enjoy the style of game, but I enjoyed all 3. I think Bioshock 2 gets a fair bit of crap, but that's mostly a "suffers from being compared to Bioshock" thing. It definitely doesn't have the same narrative...

As in just increasing bonfire intesity for that single one over and over again? I figured it'd be easiest to go do 3 different ones, but I was going to do The Rotten last. Flexile was also one of the easiest bosses first time through, so I expected that to go smoothly. God was I wrong.

I didn't have much trouble with the Iron Keep before Smelter Demon, and I had no range. I would take an arrow to the back every now and then, but it was more of a nuisance than a problem. I'm not done with the game yet (don't have Cull), but I've been enjoying using Void() with Crash() + Spark() modifying it. Spark adds 2 stacks of Void's debuff and exposes weakness. Void() being cheap leaves a lot of time for planning, which I generally just use for Breach() with Mask() for extra ba...

Yeah, I have no idea what you're trying to convey about the combat design. All I'm getting out of it is "The combat wasn't designed in a way that appeals to me, therefore it is poorly designed". But I believe the combat did use space and time well... I guess. The art style and music are am...

Diving onto the enemy carries isn't always the right answer. There are times where the right move is to murder the bruiser/assassin that hops on your carries while essentially zoning out or tanking the enemy. If your carry can't fend for himself, you should probably help him. Also, Kassadin can defi...

I'd actually prefer keeping the champion pool at something like 80 in total, rather than the 115+ there are now, making sure every champion has significant differences in play and more than one viable build, but that doesn't work with Riot's business model. Riot has actually discussed this multiple...
