Last year I went to the Scientology protest in Detroit. We stood at the side of the highway for 6 hours in -40. I wore nothing but a hoodie, a pair of sweatpants, some boots, and a scarf. No gloves.

I don't think it'd have lost access to it, because, as I stated, this is the same page that renders the comics, and navigation works fine (next, back, first, newest, etc.) And adding new comics manually works. I added a random echo statement into the If loop, and it didn't come out, so it looks like...

In lieu of mapping software, I once wrote a Perl program which, given a USB GPS receiver and a destination, printed 'LEFT' 'RIGHT' OR 'STRAIGHT' based on my heading. Which, if written in python , would consist of approximately 3 lines. 4 if you want to keep things neat. Ya but in Perl it's better ....
