Re: The Martial Arts Thread

Practicioners of complicated arts or skills tend to find some deeper meanings in them over time and with that you get a philosophical perspective on your craft. Which ends usually with the philosophical findings being handed generation over generation. In the case of asian martial arts I feel that ...

Re: The Martial Arts Thread

Martial Arts didn't descend from arts and fun however. If you want to say that there is art and fun however, usually it will come from filtering down year after year. Most of the Martial Arts come from Asia, and the cultures of Asia have had a lot of time to build upon what they already know, thus p...

Re: Should I get a PS3?

It might help you decide easier/quicker if you write down a list of games you're looking to play. After that consider which games are PS3 exclusive. Then genre-wise, choose the games you positively need to play and will die without. I'm considering buying a PS3 just to play Gran Turismo 5, Resistanc...

Zzz. There also appear to be an abundance of, pardon me, "black"-skinned stick figures. Finally, the blacks are a majority, and the whites are a minority.

Well, dresses don't normally look like suits, nor were the made to. If you look at women's clothing they were mostly created by men, or men were the overall influencing decision. Heels, bras, men practically had the choice in if they stayed or not. I am confused however in what you mean. Are you loo...

Wow, Autumn in places where the climate changes sounds, interesting . Leaving in a tropical climate, nothing here changes during the seasons. I zoned out in the middle of a physics class once. I was trying to build a railgun to prevent the zombies from eating us, and trying to program a mac to make me a cup of tea, which failed miserably. Then my Physics teacher turned off the lights and I screamed OH CRAP ZOMBIES, and actually panicked. ...
