June 14th. Wish I'd seen this thread a few days sooner, I might've gotten a few extra birthday wishes. But probably not.

Tetris (NES, GB) Finally, we begin to see Nintendo branch out into cross-platform games, and it's about time. Controls are a bit redundant, perhaps they could've found something better to do with the B button than "undo the A button", but still, straightforward is good. Graphics are a dis...

She can confirm all she wants, he's not dead, I swear!!! There are just too many things pointing to Dumbledore being alive (if you want them to be there), but I'm not sure what to think. If Rowling spent the past year or two swearing he's dead only to say "just kidding" when the book is re...

I took an acting class from John Astin. Yes, John Astin. Better known to most of you as Gomez Addams. At our graduation, his son was there. Sean Astin. Rudy. Mikey from the Goonies. Samwise Gamgee. Sure, neither of them would ever recognize me or remember who I am, but that's just fine with me.

Only if the predictor is basically flipping a coin as well. Remember, if there's effectively any chance that he's *predicting* and not just guessing, it's better to take B only (see two long posts worth of math above).

I think the short answer is yes, but the long answer might take a while. Oxidative stresses on a cell lead to a number of effects, but the most relevant to your project is probably DNA damage. Damaged DNA can be repaired, but this is dependent on the extent of the damage and the cell-cycle state of ...

Hey, I just joined for this thread (and yes, I've introduced myself already). The way I see it, the only difficulty is in whether you believe in the predictive powers of the predictor. In fact, math works here as it so often does: Given that we wish to determine our best strategy, what probability o...
