July 19th.
I've never had the opportunity to bring cupcakes to school on my birthday like the other kids in elementary school. Never had a birthday party. Summer birthdays suck for that.

This really is incredible, since we just covered this transformation last week in Linear Algebra class. And I have class in 30 minutes for which homework is due! Find ker, rng, rho, and nu: T : C^1[0,1] -> C[0,1]; Tf=f' So, suppose the transformation matrix takes a continuous function and spits out ...

I use post-it notes too. They're also good for Post-It Fencing (best 3 of 5). I am taking a course in Indo-European Folktales for the general education requirements, and the book I am reading (used) was highlighted very poorly but for the first 15 pages or so. I think the previous owner dropped out ...

Oh, hey. Thanks for the heads up. Now I can do all my "Christmas In" shopping all from one whatever-the-hell-you-call-that-thing.

I never understood those fake search screens. Do people really click on the fake results? Where are these people?

The best I can do off the top of my head is that it would reduce to 1/15.5 31^p + 5 10^p = 8 10^p => 3.1^p/15.5 = 3 Which holds best around p = 3.4. I get the same. 15.5^(p-1) + 5^(p+1) = [8(10^p)]/(2^p) (15.5^p)/15.5 = 8(5^p) - 5(5^p) (15.5^p)/46.5 = 5^p (15.5^p)/(5^p) = 46.6 (15.5/5)^p = 46.6 and...

(For m=12, n=7)
1. 144 - 49 = 95
2. 2 x 7 x 12 = 168
3. 144 + 49 = 193.

7-24-25 and 95-168-193 are both Pythagorean triples. See it?

I wish I had learned this back when I first learned calculus. It makes integrals involving trig functions so much easier. As sort of an education theorist, I keep going back to things like that...it's like so much of calculus would be easier, more sensible, and so on if we did some stuff from the v...

Oh, and to properly contribute - once I whiled away a maths period working out numbers that would give whole values for every side of a triangle according to Pythagoras' theorem (like: 3,4,5; 7,12,13 etc). There was a pattern, but I've got no idea how to explain it, so I think I'm short of "ne...

Perhaps Susan signed up for the same reason. *puts on forum stalker hat* At least sqrt(2)E3 is coming up soon. May the b...
