My Little Pony: Friendship is MAGIC!

This here is episode 1. For those of you who don't know, this show is the latest revival of the My Little Pony franchise. It is written or drawn by the author or artist responsible for the Powerpuff Girls. If you don't know me, I am highly critical of TV shows, cartoons in particular. Most of the c...

Re: [SAFESPACE] Woman Thread - All Things Women. Period.

I dunno why, but I saw a vaginal gel commercial that pissed me off. The whole point of the commercial seemed to be, "Ladies, your lady parts are disgusting and need to be cleaned." WTF. Oh and then this stupid maybelene commercial. "Don't change me, fit me." Then they display som...

Re: Rant Thread (because we need more ranting)

Dear Roomates: I know you think you're "the shit" and all, and that you have all the answers to everything. But when I make a comment like, "It's weird how Youtube is having problems with Chrome considering they're both owned by google" the correct answer is not "You don't k...

Re: 0683: "Science Montage"

What I always liked about the show CSI is they pretty much represented this correctly (or at least as right as you could in a hour long episode). Grisom's experiments were always pretty much "Put bugs in similar position, turn on video camera, occasionally check corpse." Paint analysis was...

Re: 0850: "World According To Americans"

I actually had a girl from the Netherlands tell me how ethnocentric Americans were, and proceeded to challenge me to name as many countries as she could. She got a couple of western-european countries I happened to forget, but other than that I got the vast majority of them down. Then I schooled her...

Arnold Schwarzenegger, '80s action star and governor of California, has passed a law banning the sale of "violent" video games to anyone under the age of 18. Let me put it this way: For all of my life I have campaigned against this idea of "Oh me yarm bewbs = mature" because eve...

It's precisely the "split amongst five targets" that scares me. It's a pretty solid debuff... -1 to all saves, -1 to hit, -5 HP, and lose a spell if they're a caster. But I'll gladly have Solo on board if he tells me how he got himself banned from GitP ;) (We lost Talic's hider, PhoenixRiv...

Also, the bread and cheese were delicious, as were the scones, and the cupcakes, and the brownies, and even the peanut M&Ms that were provided!
