Re: Starcraft 2 : The Dune II Clone

My last game I had around 70 at the highest point. If you stop at 40-50 against a decent macro player you will max slower, which means you shouldn't have a unit advantage anyway. If you insist on waiting after you max before attacking someone (hence they also max off less wokwers) then also add a lo...

Fast expand as well? You have been floating on 400ish minerals at the 20 supply mark. Wouldn't that be destroyed by the baneling death-ball that you normally need a 2-building thick wall to fend off? I don't think I have enough structures to plug the entry to the expansion. I also tend to struggle ...

Nothing tactical like that, juſt a far superior economy, mainly because the protoss had poor macro. This. Zeerax was the weakest player in the tournament; he made Mondragon look good but let's see how he does against a rea.l opponent (Cruncher, who juſt beat Idra). That said: http://i51.tinypic.com...

I like what the patch did for BCs already. It's nice actually having something that's good for breaking late game tank lines in TvT. I've actually won a few TvTs I let go into the late game today, against much higher ranked players, too.

Re: Starcraft 2 : The Space-Themed Warcraft 3

Well, higher dps means that infestors can be more effectively used as a damage dealer and thus potentially more worth their cost. It depends on whether the dps outweighs the lost utility of the shorter root time, which I think it probably does. You still only get a maximum of two fungal growths of ...

I am a woeful Z player, but doesn't going baneling first and having to tech switch into roaches to match your opponent put you -way- behind?
If you can pull it off without dying to fast speedlings or losing all your drones to banes, going straight into roaches is better, right?

My mum teaches food tech and hospitality in high schools for a living. She's also worked in a few fairly well-known (around here) restaurants for training purposes. So I mostly learned through just being around the kitchen with her when I was young.

Re: DOUBLE STARCRAFT!! ACROSS THE ENTIRE INTERNET! O M G!

In ZvP, engagements can last a while. Unlike ZvT, ZvP often forms firing lines for both armies, making casting the slow FG viable. The new fungal does well over twice the DPS to stalkers, making infestors a very effective damage dealer. Probably too effective. This is a massive buff to typical ZvP....
