I would say the overall raid benefits of a good shadow priest do outweigh any marginal DPS increase you could gain from sticking to your main. Shove a shadow priest in with a main tank, healers and/or a caster or two, and Vamp Embrace will have you covered. But that's me talking from a T4 perspecti...

50-70 gets increasingly more fun.

Take a look at a game called Aion. It's made by NCSoft and is currently in Korean Beta with US/EU Beta coming soon.

I'm completely addicted to WoW and I'm fortunate enough to be in an awesome guild with some really great guys including my RL best mate but I'm still going to take a look at Aion.

I got my new Rogue to 70 about a week ago. It's been fun playing as a Rogue again.
My gear's a little crappy but I went in to Kara with my guild on a gearing run for the newer guys and I got Malchazeen and Emerald Ripper so I'm using my most hated spec : Combat Daggers.

Resto Druids in Arena have no reason to QQ at all.

Cyclone and the ability to Travel Form and run out of combat and then drink make mana a moot point for them. Not to mention they can stack up 3 HoT's on each team member with little effort.

I've been reading Berserk for a long time and I survive the slow releases by only looking for new chapters every month or so.

IMHO, Peter Jackson improved the Lord of the Rings series as entertainment (as opposed to a textbook) by removing the fat and focusing on the story.
