Unsigned int to ascii in C

I was presented with a problem that I need some help on. The Problem: A routine that will convert an unsigned integer from Binary to an ASCII string suitable for output. That means you must handle unsigned signed numbers ranging from 0 to 4294967295. For extra credit you can make it work for signed ...

Re: Help me get my calculator WiFi!

Okay, my friend was looking at this, he found something very useful-looking: http://www.sparkfun.com/products/10822 This WiFi chip uses only 35mA max, so it solves the power problem; it also has a built in TCP/IP stack, and even some HTTP for you. The one question I have, then, is how I could conne...

Re: What's the Big Deal with Alienware®?

I bought an Alienware for one reason... they were the only vendor putting out a subcompact gaming laptop (the m11x). I wanted a laptop that was as small as possible while still able to run any game I loaded on it. Alienware had the best option (at the time at least, haven't looked into the subcompa...

Take a day or two trip up to Bainbridge Georgia, it's not too far. It's a nice mid-sized town that has a real air of Southern hospitality about it. I recently escaped my own home town and moved out on my own in Orlando. The change is great, being able to make a new life for yourself is worth everyt...

Something like 70% is all AB material so if you know that part really well you can still get a decent score without knowing the BC quite as well. For me I got the same college credit for anything 3+ so I probably didn't even really need to know the BC material to get my credit, granted I still got ...

I keep my nails long on my right hand for guitar. Even with the intention to keep them long, I often find them breaking off (not due to guitar) before they get too long. I'd imagine normal people, without trying to keep their nails long, come into the same situations.

Re: Friction. What direction does it act in?

How I wrapped my head around dealing with friction: If you think of friction as less of a force, and more of a multiplier, it makes more sense. I, at first, couldn't handle friction as a vector on a FBD, so instead I account for it as a multiplier of the other vectors. The problem is, once you add m...

Yes, it has nothing to do with the signal, but (again) it has EVERYTHING to so with the visual feedback the kid has playing with the antenna. Instead of an analog fade from perfect to no signal, you get a digital 1 or 0, all or none.

Ooh yea, it's a good thing as far as the signal, and reception goes. FWIW I still see a noticeable difference screwing with TV antenna direction. Of course you do! It's still an RF signal and it's still as analog as ever when it comes to how it gets to your house. The DATA it contains is now digital, nothing more. There's no such thing as a digital radio wave. It's ...

Loud Jet Engine Speaker

Picture this: An array of fast computer controlled valves hooked up to jet fuel. It would probably only work for low frequencies (if at all), but it would be freaking loud.
