Re: Hearthstone

This is why you play freezing trap instead of explosive after pinging the worgen. Orc windfury is Thrallmar Farseer. I played 3 games of automatically built decks with a friend, and darn if it wasn't a complete blast to play. Y'all should try it sometime! If you play freezing trap and worgen is alo...

Re: Hearthstone

My paladin deck for ranked runs both worgen and the orc windfury guy (name escapes me) It's not my go-to win strategy, they're more for threat than anything as they're almost always removed... but when they aren't, it's BoK and half health to the face. I had a hunter today ping my 3/3 worgen for 2 a...

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty

Surprised there isn't a thread about this movie already, unless it's so hidden in punny titling that I couldn't find it. Got it on redbox yesterday, really enjoyed it. Awkward guy dealing with pretty girl usually annoys me(hits too close to home), but this one didn't last too long, and his character...

I'm going with lowest that has highest chance of skillup, seems wasteful if there's no double up chance, in time-to-complete and in mats.

I'm starting to branch out and pick up all the skills, curious as to what might be needed in the lower level stuff.

Re: Hearthstone

Just had an arena run as a druid that was fun, I had picked up a young priestess and several health buff spells, so when angry chicken came up it was too good to pass up. He won one of the games for me single-handed. Turn one, going second, no drop from the other druid, I drop chicken and coin pries...

Any favorite champions for the newest one for all/mirror mode? I liked Lee Sin, monks flying everywhere. Garen was 'beyblade olympics', and people were singing 'Its raining men" with pantheon.

I put a big game hunter into my paladin ranked deck and haven't regretted it. He's gotten some good kills against druid taunts, raggy, and buffed minions. I'm hating those times I get what feels like a really good deck for arena, and then proceed to get maybe one or two wins. I'm either doing something wrong or rng hates me. Started playing this for the first time the other day. Of the classes I've ...

Ugh I hate freeze mages... was doing fairly well with my paladin deck in ranked, went from 19 to 12 with just a few losses.. then started hitting warlock aggro decks and mages... one mage pyro'd me with one health left, after freezing a 6/7 minion three turns in a row.

I don't know why buy orders aren't a thing in more games with player driven markets. I wanted one for years in WoW after seeing it in Eve.. how better to see what people really want to buy? It also smooths out prices like you said.

Yeah they were the actual armor pieces. I vendored the sword and one of the chests before reading the suggestion to keep the sword, oh well. Reminds me of a short story I read in a sf anthology years ago, about an oak tree on the side of the road, growing from a sapling to a full grown tree, learning to move faster and faster past the people moving by as they walked, then rode horses, then moved to cars. It claimed the most difficult par...

Re: Novus Aeterno - first MMORTS?

I would think that 15 people with, I don't know, 30-50 ships each (what I've seen from videos) would make for some pretty epic space battles in support of trying to take another alliance's good planets, and if they are relatively cheap, then you get those battles more often. I've read of Eve players...

This is only info I've garnered from the forums the last few days, but here's some answers to some of your questions. I wonder if part of the problem is that perhaps in lower rankings people are still thinking about getting a full build, and then ending the game, instead of ending the game as fast as possible. Do you ever include minions based just on their stats? I find that I almost exclusively use minions with some sort of card text.
