Re: *geek-gasm* IT'S OFFICIAL!! (Starcraft 2)

I played through Starcraft with cheats the first few times. The thought of a cheat was a fun enough concept to a child's mind that I didn't bother playing without cheats until some years later. When I finally did, I found that the Starcraft campaign was actually quite easy despite its appearance. T...

Also, it drains even when it's not firing. No more free autozapping parasites. It was hardly overpowered compared to the Vindicator. The vindicator is at least short enough on ammo that you have to actually think about where you're shooting it. Using the tesla cannon you could just hold down the mo...

Re: Alien Swarm

Tesla Cannon got nerfed into uselessness. They halved the number of clips you can carry, and reduced the damage to almost nothing. Now it eats ammo like mad, and you run out halfway through the level. It was a little overpowered before, but it wasn't gamebreaking (especially since it's a PvE game), ...

Re: Alien Swarm

Finished the campaign with a few friends last night. Fun game, but I've decided the leveling system is nearly useless. I played as an Officer and used the Shotgun/Sentry/Flares for every mission. Level 13 and I haven't found anything worth changing over to yet. Anyone know what the max level is? I'...

Re: *geek-gasm* IT'S OFFICIAL!! (Starcraft 2)

New trailer. It. Is. Awesome. I figured the campaign was going to be good, but this is probably going to be one of the best single player campaigns yet, and it's in an RTS. Strange, I watched the trailer and my desire to play the game dropped to almost zero. It looked like it might be a fun game, b...

Re: Alien Swarm

I've been playing this on a laptop, it makes it overheat like crazy. An hour in, without fail, BOOM, shutdown. Apparently it's not an uncommon problem, and disabling multicore rendering fixes it, but there's still all kinds of crazy bugs.

They're releasing a patch soon, or so I've heard.

@Texas_Ben Point noted, but I would claim that even if the drugs are not banned, the cost of sales would still lead to a grey market of 'cheaper/stronger alternatives', so you would still need this legislation in place regardless. Granted, I admit I do not know the cost of growing your own marijuan...

That isn't the case here, an example why this view-point is too simplistic. The bans on these specific substances (especially when it was only in the UK) didn't make the slightest difference to their availability or cost. They were already on at least a grey market because, while they weren't techn...
