Maybe. Though to effeciently use skid steering the wheel base has to be about the same as the track width. With a long wheelbase you lose the ability to skid. In the cONGs, the conveyorbot seems to be taking aim for something. There must be wheels under the undercarriage that allow it to turn without turning the large wheels - perhaps the large wheels are for something else. I think it uses skid-steering to turn.
