I use gnome/xfce/openbox. Mainly because they look the most elegant. I cannot stand any of the themes for KDE and I hate Amarok with a passion, why is everything KDE just so damn ugly.

This might help some. http://www.devhardware.com/forums/science-69/building-a-processor-126556.html It's should be very easy once you learn the logic gates, building them from scratch shouldn't be too hard either, just need some transistors (I think). I didn't read through it all but this might help...

Re: Buy a Mac or build a PC - what to spend my money on next?

It's not worth it to modify the hardware, I just did it to mess around. It's the same reason I'm booting every leaked version of longhorn on my old desktop. Although I do now think my next computer will be an Apple product. I like iLife and Adium way too much to give them up.

Re: Buy a Mac or build a PC - what to spend my money on next?

I have to say this, because it's super-annoying to me... A Mac is a PC. Personal computer just means that it doesn't work off a mainframe like a dumb terminal. That they're small enough to even fit in your house. They're, like, personal. And computers. The OP isn't written in such a way that makes ...

My friends and I frequently attend events such as the Ontario Renaissance Festival and the Toronto Pirate Fair. There MUST be others of you out there who do the same. Or at least nerd it up for Halloween. We often dress up at the said events. Hey, why not? So here's a thread to post the pictures of...

Just so everyone knows, they already have rooms you can skydive in. http://www.flyawayindoorskydiving.com/ Also I don't think you need much of a grade for water to run off.
