Re: How do you buy your music?

I don't buy CDs anymore. I don't like the sound of it. And it's too expensive.

As I listen almost only to old music from the 60s and 70s, I prefer to buy old LPs. There are plenty of second-hand record shops in my district. THey're quite cheap. And I love these large sleeves. I've got 400 of them.

Re: Urban Exploration ( Exploring )

In the past I lived four years in Paris. It was really lame and I hate this overrated city, but at least there's something great I made there : urban exploration. Paris is built over an extensive network of catacombs and mines. Both are connected with each other, for miners used the catacomb galleri...

Re: Modern "Prog-Rock"?

You consider yourself old farts because you buy CD ? Then, what I am ? I will NEVER buy CD because CD sucks : only LPs are good. I only buy LPs. This is the good sound, the true sound. The only difference in quality you hear between CD and LP is the sound of your smugness ringing between your ears....

Yes. Except the families of the criminals. Note the jurors didn't hug the daughter of the man they had just condemned to death. Re: Death penalty recommended for California arsonist

Indeed it is. But there are different degrees in murders. In a democracy, justice is made to apply law into precise situations and to precise people. Law is general : killing is forbidden and shall be punished. Justice if peculiar : in one case, there's a dangerous murderer who ought to be punished ...

Oh no, don't execute him, it's too expensive ! Is that sarcasm? Because it will, ultimately, cost the system more than just life imprisonment. You're trivializing a rather valid argument. Too many people are blaming the end of the movie. Don't you understand ? This is to make you feel like in a Bollywood production. The counter-argument (which I do not hold) is that the issue is not that Capital punishment is more expensive. It's that the extra and unnecessary regulation is expensive. If you tried to put this on the books in Texas, they'd tell you to cut costs on the legal side instead. I guess mob justice is ...
