Re: Putting some album art together.

I wouldn't say that it looks "bad" in an objective sense, but "tacky" because of the very obvious use of overdone filters, fonts and such. Though it's ugly that isn't its defining characteristic - its mortal sin is that it's busy but also doesn't give my eye anything pleasing to...

The Chicken Dance.

I don't mind the song. I even (unsuccessfully) tried to remix it once, and I'm thinking about giving it another try. It's the dance that bugs the crap out of me. I blame it on the fact that we did it all the time in my first few years of elementary school.

I wasn't trying to make the poster look incredibly realistic, and was in fact looking for a cartoonic look of sorts.

I'm looking into fixing the text and positioning. I now see how bad it looks.

I can't believe I didn't nail this the first time: Kids Bop. As if pop culture was bad enough, all we needed was a bunch of kids who think they can sing to destroy even the good songs that we hear on the radio in addition to the bad and downright fucking ugly ones. Did I make any grammatical errors ...

Putting some album art together.

Well, not exactly an album, but a pack of music I composed, nonetheless. The general gist of my plan for music releases is to leave a mix of about 30 seconds from each track, and then release all of the songs in a .rar or .zip. For this upcoming pack, I plan on using this as album art. http://img228...

If I'm not mistaken, Gimp is freeware.

If you want to buy a Wacom graphics pen at any time, I think they still come with a free copy of Adobe Photoshop 2.0. I've had that program since middle school, and I'm still pretty satisfied with it.
