Clementines would totally win. They're easy and tasty (But oddly enough, they show up nowhere on this)

Apparently, my school is trying something new with the APUSH course.
Instead of making people just read the textbook, we're going with a "read primary-source documents to understand the history" route.

Re: Rant Thread - The Spates of Wrath

The basic premise of The Time Traveler's Wife has been annoying me for quite some time now. How the fuck does a genetic mutation produce wormholes that allow the host body to travel through time? It's completely inconceivable; I don't even see how one could explain it through pseudo-science.

Today I learned where all the laws are recorded.
I know from history class that the constitution just lays out a system of government, and doesn't tell you what's specifically illegal and legal.
But for years, I've wondered, "Where do they record the law that says this or that?"

If you're going to publish it, I'd agree with those who said to show it to a professor first, to ascertain whether or not it actually has any value.

My first instinct was to choose the longest movie, thus cutting the number of times I would have to watch it (Btw, here's a list)
But then I realized that I'd probably lose interest in them within a couple of hours.

Though, I could probably watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail for a day straight.

For those who've read Artemis Fowl, is it somewhat similar to H2G2? ie, is it satirical sci-fi? Because I don't think it would make very much sense for him to write a sequel unless his own style of writing somewhat fit that of Adams's. Personally, I'd nominate someone like Lemony Snicket,(aka Daniel...
