Re: Graphics Card Problem/Potential Replacement

Well, it was a graphics card problem, so then I did a whole lot of research to what would actually work in my computer, and found that not only would the AMD HD 6670 work, but that MSI's was only $10 more expensive than the cheapest non-refurbished option. And apparently there are plenty of even PCI...

Graphics Card Problem/Potential Replacement

My 6 year old ATI Radeon HD 2600XT seems to be dying. I've been experiencing odd stretched polygons recently. At first I put it down as a lack of video memory, as I was playing some games that required 512MB video memory, and this card only has 256MB. How can I be sure that it is absolutely a proble...

I seem to be having a problem where SMNC won't let me run the game in 1440x900 (my monitor's resolution). It gives my options for both higher and lower resolutions, and a quick google search on the problem has told me nothing except that others are able to run it in that resolution. I'm stumped... E...

On episode 7: So, we finally get to see some air-bending action from Tenzin. I must say, I think he handled himself rather well in that fight. Also, metal-bending apparently doesn't work on pure plotinum. I see what you did there. Though Sato mentioning it had no impurities to bend would sugges...

Well, I finally got this, and though I haven't played too much yet, I'm liking the story so far. It's also running very well, with the exception of some odd stretched polygons. But of course, I am running this on a GPU that I am pretty sure is below the minimum requirements (Radeon HD 2600 XT), so s...

Something you could try to reduce the lag is to use Masterwork dwarf fortress, if you aren't averse to using mods. Most of the features can be disabled, and it allows you to reduce the types of items so there are limited types of stone, mining produces less stone, as well as only one or two types of...

Even though it can only stop a reduced power .22 round, couldn't they layer the spider silk protein weave in bulletproof vests, or something like that? Or as some of the layers, to add a bit of extra protection.
