Re: Wholesale biochemical re-engineering - Not too far off n

Ulc, why can we not solve the Schrodinger equation for each particle? Is it just too much computation with all the atoms in a protein? In short, yes. But that yes doesn't really carry the weight it's meant to here, because it's more along the likes of "fuck yes, and it's never, ever gonna happ...

Second point: not really. The science behind folding@home is a good overview; like ulc said What I gathered there is that it's not a theoretical problem, but a computer resources problem. Is this correct? No. Garbage in = garbage out. We don't know the exact parameters to put into the algorithms - ...

I want to say that it's a perfectly normal idea among programmers, but I'm probably just nuts. Yep, just nuts. What you're talking about here, is in programmers terms the equivalent of saying "man, computers are too complicated, can't we just run calculations without circuits?". Yes, it m...

I don't really see a inherent problem in a "end of the year porno in the theater" or, indeed, any amount of porno in the school theater. Notice the "inherent" thing right there. It's important, because I can see a whole lot of ways this can be implemented in ways that are absolut...

They come from multiplying numbers together.
