Re: [SAFESPACE] Woman Thread - All Things Women. Period.

Decided to go anyway and just deal with whatever happens. Really wish periods weren't such a taboo thing though. One of my deal-breakers has ALWAYS (from my teen years) been if the sex partner is grossed out by blood. If menstrual blood is a problem, this is useful information to me. Btw, orgasms a...

Re: [SAFESPACE] Woman Thread - All Things Women. Period.

So I'm planning to go visit a very special friend in a few days, but before deciding to go I'd prefer to be sure I'm not having Shark Week coming up in those days. However, with my last period occuring within two weeks of the previous one (this was at the beginning of december), I'm not sure how muc...

Re: Questions For The World

In Austria, at the cinema I usually go to, normal prices are about 9 euros (=11,7 USD). Monday-Wednesday it's cheaper though, at 6,40 (8,3 USD). If you want to watch a 3D movie, you have to pay 2,5 euros on top of the normal ticket price. In Norway (Oslo), it costs 100 NOK (=13,6 EUR = 17,7 USD) to ...

I've only ever heard "don't leave the seat up", so that people using the toilet later won't risk sitting down on the bowl itself in less observant moments.

So, finished my last period two weeks ago, and here it comes around again? What's up with that?
Should I worry?
Also augh stomach pain.

One that hasn't been mentioned yet: Susanne Sundfør. I can't restrict myself to just one song, so here's three:
The brothel
Lillith

Norwegian and Danish are really similar, so we can typically communicate without too much trouble, but there are a few things here and there that can cause confusion, such as the use of modal verbs. In Norwegian, "må" means "must/have to", while in Danish it basically means "...

So is going to see a doctor entirely free? You just have to wait around for a while and might not get the help you need? As far as I know, he doesn't have any family apart from his parents. Avoiding homelessness when jobless and depressed

A friend of mine is in some deep trouble and I really want to help out in any way I can, but I don't know how, so I'm asking you guys. But the thing is, they claim the jokes underline the fact that the stereotypes aren't true.
I just feel like they do more to normalize them than to ridicule them, but have problems bringing that point across without seeming like I want to be controlling of how peope express themselves.

I used to get carsick when I was little, and since the car smell was nauseating to me I automatically stop breathing through my nose when entering a car. Didn't know that was an unusual thing. That being said, I have vomited out my nose once, and it was definitely one of my worse vomit incidents. I ...

So I'm pretty uncomfortable with sexist humour and the likes, simply because I'm uncomfortable with stereotypes and generalizing and I feel like basing things, even just jokes, on that might make it more present/acceptable in people's minds. In Norway, it's basically free. There's a fee of something like 50 bucks each semester, but that's it. Most students also get a student loan each month, half of which gets turned into a stipendium if you pass all of your exams.
