Re: Create Your Own Society

TLDR: *One Grace set to establish safehouse *One Grace set to get a Summit member to brew up something of a storm, then gather intelligence from around Nolair and meet with Isan *Meeting planned with the Disgraced and one of the Nolair rebel leaders *Two Graces, including Blades, soon to head in to...

Yeah, that's mostly creative rather than "I have created a +50000000 Hit-Guaranteed Sword of Going-First!", very much what I was thinking of. Yes, I have seen myself on broadcast television. As part of an audience shot. Hey, it counts. And I like to keep a low visible profile these days, f...

Re: have you ever...

Not certain, but it's very likely. Arcade-style games, short shareware efforts, story-driven indie games and the like make that relatively straightforward compared to today's 100+ hour AAA titles.

Have you ever modified a game for a purpose other than giving yourself an advantage?

This is not from Black Hat Guy, because all the people that do this think they're being good and helpful.

Anyway. Yes. Too common, and in some ways an extension of the ideas in 1716.

Re: Create Your Own Society

That's always my hesitation turning these into big writing/roleplaying things. It's fun, but many who can't/don't want to keep up fall out of the game, or are turned away from joining. Yeah, that's always a danger. That's why I value the short posts as much as the longer ones. Yeah, a bit of story ...

OOC: Awwww. <Leaves a hug for Lawrencelot> The Scouts have strongly identified as supporting the Nolair rebellion; I think that'll have to continue, but otherwise, I suggest a similar system to the Grey Servants. Re: Create Your Own Society

The party of four Graces made their way, at a more leisurely pace now, along a cliff road towards the outskirts of the Nolair region. Gulls wheeled overhead, elbowing aside the smaller inland birds in the search for anything edible. The somewhat-friendly questioning of the young Scout they'd ambushe...

OOC: Interesting. I like the Byzantine Anno Mundi system just for its shear factual incorrectness (not even because the earth is way older than that, but it's even got about 2000 years of translation errors).
