To confuse the matter further, in the UK we have steady red - blinking amber - steady green - steady amber - steady red, the turn arrows just jump straight to green and the pedestrian crossing lights go steady red - steady green - blinking green - steady red.

For anyone else trying, it may be worth noting

that the cannons can only fire one at a time, and have a particular sequence in which they check whether you're in line of fire, so you can ride the conveyor past one close up if another one further away shoots at you first.
