Re: 1285: "Third Way"

What I'm having trouble with is the notion that any of these three signs would be written without sentence punctuation at the end. And in capital letters. And un-serifed text. Center-aligned.

Re: Drawing graphics in GTK+ (Python 3.x)

Re: Drawing graphics in GTK+ (Python 3.x)

Okay, figured it out. Apparently connecting an event listener isn't enough, you also need to specifically tell the widget to subscribe to the event. This'll do it: from gi.repository import Gtk ... da = Gtk.DrawingArea() da.set_events(da.get_events() | Gdk.EventMask.BUTTON_PRESS_MASK # mouse down | ...

Re: Drawing graphics in GTK+ (Python 3.x)

Update: I've decided to ditch pygame and work with GdkPixbuf instead, which should work with Gtk a lot more cleanly. However, the last useful documentation for Python's GTK+ and Gdk bindings was based on outdated versions (namely PyGTK, which doesn't seem to be available for Python 3), and the curre...

Drawing graphics in GTK+ (Python 3.x)

I'm trying to make an application that combines PyGame and the GTK+ bindings from PyGObject to draw a GUI. (I need the former's image manipulation, but haven't found any well-maintained GUI toolkit for it). The standard (in-process) way appears to be to extend Gtk.Window, then tell pygame to draw in...
