Well, it is September. According to TV advertising at least it's now officially Christmas.

It's from a webcomic.

Traffic lights in Michigan are controlled through wireless radio, and are super easy to hack. I'm kind of surprised that wireless is involved actually... I'd always assumed that traffic lights were hardwired in because they're already right next to phone poles and cables. I guess that would be a li...

Snow Crash would be cool because it'd be a game within a game. Programmers/hackers are like celebrities in their Tron-internet thing, so there could also be a creative aspect where players write their own code.

I'm excited to see autonomous cars, because then they can drive even more recklessly without crashing. (in theory)

Actually, I'm expecting car security to become a major issue in the next few decades. Especially if cars start talking to each other in a peer-to-peer network to avoid collisions.

I've never had a fully trained/equipped military force because 1) I don't use danger rooms and 2) can't be arsed. It's pretty fun to think of new traps. Dropping a steel anvil a few hundred feet will kill pretty much anything.

We can start shooting people to Mars. Decomposing bodies will release gasses that thicken the atmosphere, the added mass will increase gravity, and the ground will turn to soil which life will spring from.
