Re: 0860: "Never Do This"

One time in my college dorm, I got paired with an exchange student from Ireland for a semester. We didn't have air conditioning in the dorm and she only showered once a week. The entire place smelled very strongly of rancid hot potatoes until she moved out.

I wish I was exaggerating.

Jesus fucking pedant christ.

"We can't enjoy this comic because it doesn't have the precise correct amount of 'na's!" <-- If this is you, get some goddamn sunshine or rent a sense of humor.

Loved the comic! You don't want the pedants as readers anyway.

I'm up to 14.7k gold now. Climbing surely! I find that wowhead's estimated buyout price is a good rule of thumb. This feature wasn't helpful when cata was fresh, of course, but now there are established prices for almost everything. If you can't sell something for what wowhead says it's worth, check...

I don't think 10k is too little gold for myself, seeing as how I'm an alchemist/tailor/fisherwoman and my alt is an herb/miner. High ilvl gear only trivializes a dungeon if everyone has it. Unfortunately pugs never have as good of gear as I do (ilvl 349, tuned mostly toward regen as a holy priest). Looking for a comic--not by Randall--posted here long ago

There was a really good comic panel that was posted here a long time ago, pro-affirmative action. I'm discussing affirmative action with someone and I could really use this comic to illustrate my point. It was a black kid getting stepped on by a white kid. The white kid gets to a higher ledge, and t...

In Firefox, I believe the drop down is based on how frequently you've visited a page, rather than when you last visited it. So if you keep going to the home page, it should move up the list. This. The current version of Firefox has an intelligent find-as-you-type algorithm. When I type xk the first...

It wasn't a clusterfuck. It worked. It did exactly what it was supposed to do. As for transparency, anyone who was paying attention knew that the stimulus was one-third tax cuts, and that 95% of Americans would be seeing more in their paychecks. I'm not terribly moved by "oh noes! I wasn't pay...
