Re: Avoiding over-consumption

It sounds pretty paternalistic to decide at what point technology ceases to satisfy another person. I'd be more than happy to work one day or zero days a week to sustain myself. I don't know of any jobs where this is currently possible. I pull in a weekly wage of about $425 and this is barely enough...

Re: WoWzers!

I think the RNG under the new boss daily system isn't too weighted. Over Brewfest, running Direbrew close-to every day of the event, my hunter ended up with both mounts by the end, with one even showing up as a duplicate drop in the bags. And I think the drop rate for the slightly-more-necessary HH...

If you know that action A causes result X, then when you do action A, either you intend result X, or you are delusional. Well cognitive dissonance ensues... maybe "delusional" is a little extreme. But I don't disagree with your assessment. There is also the caveat that if you don't know A...

That's your opinion. I don't think it's valid. In fact I think it's harmful. But I don't accuse you of wanting to actively cause harm to conservative Christians. I would argue that the feeling you've described isn't compassion, it's more like pity. Regardless, it is the right of any person to disregard compassion or pity if it's coming from someone who is causing them pain.

Perhaps I wasn't completely clear, but my primary issue with your and Savage's stance is that you want to label all people who feel homosexuality is wrong as part of the gay teen suicide problem. They are, whether they/you accept that label or not is irrelevant. If you expect people to get over the...
