Re: NEWBIE: Mythology Mafia -- Day 1: The mods must be crazy

I thought about the PM thing too, but the mafia can PM during the day. I suppose that, if New User thought that info couldn't wait, he might have taken the risk of putting it out in the open... I wondered about the PMing during day or night too when I read Sruixan's post, but I just figured it was ...

Well I think we just misunderstand each other. I would do that subtly, and I take "go really hard" to mean the opposite of subtle.

Re: NEWBIE: Mythology Mafia -- Day 1: The mods must be crazy

Makes sense about the cop thing. I guess I should have been clear from the beginning that those are not my words, just copied and pasted. It's not too late for everyone to realize that, and for undeniable proof of the fact just look back at the previous newbie game. Also as far as the vig thing goes...

Re: NEWBIE: Mythology Mafia -- Day 1: The mods must be crazy

I guess I'm newbier than I thought :(
I mean, of course the mafia would night kill the vigilante, if they know the vig's identity. Same for any power role. This seems incredibly obvious, so in what way did I encourage the vig to get night killer sooner?

Re: NEWBIE: Mythology Mafia -- Day 1: The mods must be crazy

Looks like I'm getting the votes. Well in my defense, the only advice I gave the mafia was to me blindingly obvious: roleblocker block someone random on night one. If my vigilante analysis was to be taken as covert advice (I didn't mean any of that role stuff as advice to anyone with the roles, rath...

Don't get me wrong, I think they are both in the wrong for racial discrimination. But someone can be fined for what they feel? This is news to me. Can any Canadians explain this phrase? I'm probably taking it the wrong way.

Re: NEWBIE: Mythology Mafia -- Day 1: The mods must be crazy

Ok it's later. This post is going to be quick and to the point, I hope, which doesn't seem easy to pull off but here it is anyway: zerker2000 is likely town, so it looks like I'm the damn fool for supporting such an anti-town action as lynching zerker. Also, yes, I meant whoever's getting replaced, ...

OK ya'll. Ok. Been drinking tonight. My thoughts is a-racin'. I would post my thoughts, but my brain is working overtime. Right now, I'm thinking zerker2000 is likely townie, RoadieRich (and therefore the replacement) is likely mafia, Rakysh looks suspicious, and so does MisterChief, but I can't pos...

Re: NEWBIE: Mythology Mafia- BEGIN Day 1: The mods must be c

In that case I more firmly stand behind my new vote. If superdemongob broke a rule, then as you say the mods "got it" (superdemongob, for the record I don't have a problem with you editing posts before the game starts, just looking for an excuse to vote for anyone ;)). But zerker2000 isn't...

Yes. Not very logical, I know, but this is day one. The rules clearly state you may never edit your posts. However, since I am a fan of logic I'll spare you this D1 vote. As I stated, there have already been several posts by the players, allowing some form of character analysis. And here's my eviden...

Re: NEWBIE: Mythology Mafia- BEGIN Day 1: The mods must be c

Yes, this early in the game there usually isn't much to go on, but some people have made several posts already which makes at least some form of character judgement possible. Maybe. Sorry superdemongob, but someone has to be lynched eventually or this game won't get anywhere. So for now, my vote sta...

Re: NEWBIE: Mythology Mafia -- SIGN UP HERE AND NOW

Agreed. The reason I posted all that anyway was to indicate that there is no way that claiming cop could benefit the town. Even if there weren't a roleblocker, since the scum knows that if they don't counterclaim, the town gets an advantage, then they would be stupid to not counter-claim. But what ...

Re: NEWBIE: Mythology Mafia -- SIGN UP HERE AND NOW

In this game, though, there is a scum roleblocker. That changes it: Cop claims, no counter-claim (this is actually more likely in this game, since a counter-claim by scum gives no real advantage) Doctor protects cop every night, cop investigates someone every night, cop is roleblocked every night. ...

Unless someone can find a chart of types of genitalia shown in different mediums, people are always going to say "Well there was wang in this movie" and "There was boobs/vagina in this game." This begs for such a chart to be made. I don't even know how to go about collecting the...

I'm no physicist but mightn't that depend on how fast the human target is fleeing? I don't think the relatively small speed of the fleeing human would make much of a difference next to the flying mousepad's speed of 400 mph. I think this assumes that it's easier to have a mousepad fly at faster-tha...

Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude has a minigame featuring a male stripper wearing nothing but a banana hammock.
