Re: The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim : Dual Wield Bacon

AEP, that... reads like you missed a lot of times, actually. My feel about the whole 'Level up this much before X', issue is that it should be specialised. I'm Archemage, A nightingale, A werewolf and I've slapped down Alduin My skill set though, is pretty much only sneak + 1 handed. My highest ...

Re: The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim : Dual Wield Bacon

The slow time for power attacks perk has made bears and sabre cats so much more dealable. The Block skill tree is so effective against those big power hitters. It's the ice wraiths that tend to finish me off, I can't seem to ever find them until they start hitting me.

I... can't stop listening to El Camino. Or Glass Swords by Rustie. That guy has exploded over the past few months and I think its awesome. Thinking about it, 2011 has actually been a year of gloriously weird sounds: M83, James Blake & Bon Iver, Rustie's EP and Hud Mo's new stuff. All lovely and ...

Pity that you can't use a mace as a 'skeleton key'. Imagine someone smashing into your home with the unholy weapon of Molag Bal, decked out in armor made from the skins of eldritch abominations. Yeah, threaten to call the guards, I dare you. There's a If it does everything else, why is there no...

stuff Doesn't this apply somewhat to Speech? It's pretty tough to play without ever bartering. If there were an athletics/acrobatics skill then I'd expect it to be similar to Speech: marginal improvement with skill, perks that raise the upper bound (to an extent). Re: The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim : Dual Wield Bacon

To be fair, while I do agree that it was over quickly, by the second or third fort you're killing roughly the population of Whiterun in one go. That is a hell of a lot of dead bodies for 2 -10 warriors to hack through, even if one of them can shout you apart. Any more forts, and I'd start w...

Yeah, I mean, I understand why teachers do that, and I'm not criticising them for it (No-one wants to have to go all the way to uni level maths with a bunch of year 8's just because there is one curious bastard at the front) but it's kinda gratifying to see that it really is there, and does hold tog...

Re: Pant Thread (because we need more panting)

That sounds like my first few weeks of doing maths at university. We weren't allowed to use what we knew from school and college - we had to derive it all first. Like, we weren't even allowed to assume things like x-x=0, and we had to completely relearn stuff like differentiation. We've just finish...
