Re: Eggsperiment

I think the only effect that adding salt to the water has is to raise the boiling point, which means your eggs will be done faster than when using unsalted water. Salt raises the boiling point by so little that in practical terms it has less effect on boiling point than altitude or humidity would, ...

I vaguely wish I could go braless more often, but my breasts are too heavy. (Note to self: You keep saying you're going to weigh them, but you haven't! Weigh them already.) Re: SYDNEY PEOPLE! (Currently Orgasmising: 22 February 2009)

Yeah. From what I understand, trains from the city to Hornsby are annoying because they usually stop at all the stations, of which there are like 20. I've done it once before and it took about an hour. It's easy to get a fast train to Hornsby from Strathfield that only stops at Epping, and that only...

I can get to Hornsby station easily enough, but for anywhere else I'd have to work it out. What kind of places were you thinking? Brooklyn is pretty nice, as are some of the places around Berowra. I guess it depends on who else can easily get up there, too.

You're adamant about leftovers not being as good, but actually, that's not always true. Leftover bolognaise or chilli is usually better than that made on the day because the flavours have had more time to develop. Same with stews, soups and casseroles. Making a large quantity of those and freezing i...

Okay, well I should be up from approximately the 10th to approximately the 26th, so that should fit in well with the breaks given so far. I don't know what my gentleman's plans are but I'm pretty sure there'll be a fair amount of flexibility within that timeframe, most afternoons should be managable.
