Don't give physicists any ideas. Next thing you know, there'll be a whole new set of quantum parameters (like the quarks' Top, Bottom, etc) named after fruits. Then we'll see equations full of <apple|psi|raspberry> notation.

I suspect there's a subtle (or not-so-subtle) self-deprecating reference to all XKCD comics' speech being in ALL CAPS.
