Re: "Shoe Hurled as Chinese PM speaks" (at Cambridge)

I can just see someone walking in wearing three pairs of shoes inside each other, to ensure heel hit the target. Also it read the title as "Shoe Hurled at Chinese PM Speaks" and my first thought was a talking shoe!?! They have tongues I guess. They also have soles, so they should be capab...

Re: One School Beats Another School At Sporting Event

Again, I would say this is more the fault of the administration as these two teams should not play eachother. To do so is putting both coaches in a terrible position and is a situation like this waiting to happen. I'd agree on this point. These two teams definitely should not be playing each other....

Re: One School Beats Another School At Sporting Event

You can't say "this doesn't happen in college basketball!" because this kind of match-up wouldn't happen in college basketball. You can't make comparisons to college basketball players because, again, the relative skill differential wouldn't be seen in players anywhere else. This is what ...

You're being really, really dishonest here. We can look at basketball from 6 year olds to the pros and note that 100-0 is exceedingly uncommon. Nobody except yourself is bringing up the uncommon point. Get over it. I'm bringing it up too. They're roughly the same age and size, and they're playing i...

Re: One School Beats Another School At Sporting Event

So not only is it our fault that a 100-0 high school score made the press and the winning coach was obviously not running up the score with a triple digit margin of victory (no evidence is necessary, that's why it's obvious) but were you the one coaching the winning side, you would do something tha...

That's because most proffesional basketball teams play other proffesional basketball teams. Weird. X talent level play X talent level. What idiot thought THAT up? The winning coach did not try to humiliate the other team, they just sucked that bad. And now it's international news because people just wouldn't shut up about it. Nice move, people. As for states' rights--yeah, the state governments, because they are required to balance the budget, are kinda getting fucked over right now. Anything the fed does to prevent them from having to spend money will help. That, and that the stimulus bill has money to the state government in the bill.

It really should've been Marcus Harrison, as he had a single play which swung the game at least 10 points, if not 14. He also should've been given the "Biggest Douche in the Superbowl" award. That's what I was thinking. "It's the guy who ran that 100-yard interception return, right?&...
