How many people do you know who don't use https for their online banking? Most people. Although https is baked into some aspects of some online banking, it's not universally baked in everywhere. If you don't explicitly type https into the browser bar, you don't get https*. You get an ordinary http ...

Re: Trump presidency

That said, I hope this enhanced level of scrutiny continues to happen in good faith, and doesn't just devolve into conspiracy theories like the right-leaning media's coverage of Obama turned into. Given the amount of crazy shit Trump does on a daily basis, I'm not sure how anyone would find time to...

According to the minecraft wiki , the water will be updated to flow through semi-transparent blocks. Let's see what that'll do with signs. As far as I can tell that includes signs, and the discussion with the developer implied that all non-solid blocks would let water through them: https://www.redd...

In a Reddit thread one of the MC devs said they were probably going to introduce a "no water" block which will block water flowing, but let everything else fall through. So for actively maintained MC servers you could replace the signs etc with the new block, if they go ahead with that ide...

According to the article it seems one guy was supposed to be the heir to the presidency (because that's totally how presidencies work, they're not elected or anything), but then a schism in the party opened and Mugabe was going to hand power to his wife, Grace. Posting in Darker because even though I'm no fan of Mugabe, a military coup is still some heavy shit. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-41992351 The military has taken control in Zimbabwe but said President Robert Mugabe, in power since 1980, was safe. I've always been in favor of restricting handguns. Not very useful for home defense compared to a shotgun, very useful for crimes. I thought about this. Problem I can see is someone who is relatively small or weak might not have the strength to use a shotgun, while they could use a handgun. On the ...

It's weird seeing people describe Rajoy as a dictator when his government is just as democratically elected as the Catalonia regional government were. Plus they're the ones actually following the Spanish constitution, which was ratified by Spanish voters in a referendum with 91.81% in favour of it.
