Oh well. Post away! I guess this thread is mere amusement at this point anyhow.

Not so much asked, as made an offhand reference to an obscure foreign thing...so yeah, asked. That'll teach me to refer to British pop culture.

It would appear that she doesn't spend all that much time in this thread, as is evidenced by the number of posts she has in here. Of course, we don't have any reliable way to keep track of how often someone visits a thread other than their post count in that thread. I'm also confused as to why I should be discouraged from using a particular thread when I'm not breaking any of the rules. scowdich asked for a title (in the ask for a title thread) a grand total of once and was asked to stop asking, and I was "frowned at" for having made too many comments or discussed too often (sixty some odd in 3 months). I don't get that. What percentage of this forum is made up of people who post regularly?

To be fair, I asked a few times, but I tried to be nice enough to spread the requests out some (a page or two in between). My goal was not to annoy, but it seems that's what happened. My apologies, Ren. Won't do it again, especially now I've got a title.

Then I rescind my statement about him having asked once, I didn't see the other requests. Still, I didn't think he was being annoying about it.

I noticed all of his requests, and did find it annoying. I was waiting for a similarly annoying title to be granted without consent because of it, actually.

And yeah, the number of posts someone has made in a thread means pretty much nothing in terms of how much they read it. I think most of the magistrates/mods/prelates/admins read most of the site/forum issues forum, including this one comic-relief thread therein because, well, they're the ones running the forum. (Also, look at the official rules thread global announcement: only Fearbears has ever posted in it, but I bet he doesn't account for many of the 19k or so views of it...)
Unless stated otherwise, I do not care whether a statement, by itself, constitutes a persuasive political argument. I care whether it's true.

i am soooOOO totally lost on all this, everyone just started spouting little three word sentences with some kind of implicit meaning... but its 230 in the morning and i have just come to the dawning realization that my life doesnt mean a whole hell of a lot right now... which probably means its time for me to go to sleep. my plan of attack is threefold, read the rest of my thread notifies, finish questionable content (all of it, i just started today) and all the while continue to not understand what is going on in this particular specifity. thanks.
