The main host page seems to be static and from a random search on a dictionary. Right now it won't change from Mangroves softeners mishap!

Seems to be a column of numbers with ASCII drawn penises of varying sizes next to them. I can see no connection between the penii and the numbers, which thoroughly confuses me.

Yeah, that's just a folder containing every image posted to #xkcd plus some other big public channels tagged "NSFW". There's another similar gallery at http://aram.xkcd.com/irc/emad_images/

None of them are automatically updated or anything -- it's just a grep+wget command I ran one afternoon, with (IIRC) some kind of gallery-creation bash script to make the gallery page.

Good luck figuring out all the other things, like the cake page.
