The sad thing about this game is that if you didn't start a long time ago, you stand no chance. Wish I had been around for its inception. This would be really awesome.

I didn't start when the thread first started, and I'm in third place! What we really need is for most of the players to quit and for the few left to only necro the thread every few days.

Edit: There's also another, somewhat newer version of this game with slightly different rules. You could join that one in about a week.

So the real way to win this game is to DDoS the server and be ready to post right when you end the DDoS attack after as long as possible, best case being long enough to take first place.

I believe there are rules about what happens if the thread is locked; those could probably also apply in this case as well.
