It occurs to me to ask: Last time I came here, I clicked the "view earliest post that's new to you" button, putting me on page X. By then we were on page Y>X. Did this count as two page views, one count?

Related: Does the fact that posting dumps you back to the thread to view your new post also increment the view counter?
