Okay, this needs to be my last post today, because I'm getting a tad consumed with this game. I'll reward any points tomorrow.

This would be the Stapler encased in jelly:
Image
i.e., a mini-stapler spread with jelly (not jell-o, since jell-o =/= jelly), poured with water, frozen, then taken out, put on a paper towel and photographed.
I couldn't do the finger thing, since my camera has no flash, and it's dark, so I had to hold a lamp over the stapler with my left hand, so I scribbled "Rodan" on the towel. I hope that's acceptable.
It's only partly encased, but it is pretty well glazed.
It had better be worth 16 points.

Damnit, that's what happens when you don't look at the fora over the weekend.
My list:
- A moving headstone/gravestone (what do you call it? Mondays suck) your choice of definitions for "moving";
- Transient art;
- A real life lolworthy cat;
- All the colours of the rainbow in one picture;
- A previous generation computer.

Tonight, there will be photo taking!

ALSO please be considerate regarding the international nature of the fora. Country-specific items and terminology make it harder than it needs to be.

Random post.

Micco's avatar is cool.

I hate every one of you that's been posting cool photos since I didn't check the fora at the weekend (my fault) and now I'm at work (technically my fault too but less in my power) and you keep posting before me and I have no place to hate you but I can't stop.

You can already do that - as soon as you get 5 entries for an item you can replace it with another one. Thanks for the big list of what's been found, btw. I'll incorporate that into the 1st post now.

We should probably have some kind of time limit or something, like if no one finds an item for a week or something, then it is replaced.

Do we really need to? You never know when someone might find it! What about making a time limit but after that it doesn't get removed, it just gets archived. The person can make a new request and you get different points for finding an archived item. I just can't decide if it should be more or less.

I think it would make more sense to get more points than usual if no one else is able to find the elusive item.

(that was my first instinct as well - I was just worried about people finding the object but not posting it in the hope that they can wait for more points. Maybe they never would until I've now pointed that out...)

I attempted to draw myself a tattoo too :D
It's supposed to be a raptor (feathery kind) and a stick man pondering his imminent death
(sorry the photos suck, it was difficult to get it all in one pic)

I should have most of the day off tomorrow so I'm gonna try and get as many as I can. The real life xkcd scene should be pretty awesome if I can persuade someone to help me out.
