You can, however, get a patent for a "circular transportation facilitation device".

Remember the episode where Bart takes the cherries out of chocolate covered cherries and replaces it with two month old mayonnaise?

[Edit:]This thread is about pwning, not worshipping. The winners post something obscure, extreme, unexpected, or extremely appropriate yet creative, and not generic--it's kind of like yo momma contests. Those who are just using this as an excuse to say "Digimon is way better than Yugioh" clearly do not understand the point.

Well in that case, this guy is the first tv the extraterrestrials will see:

(according to Contact, at least... but Carl Sagan wouldn't lie, would he?)

EDIT: Oops, too late.

J. R. Bob Dobbs is Time Magazine's top fraud of the 20th century.

What an interesting story too. Turns out Time magazine was going to do this top x of the century for a number of categories online around the y2k. Top Fraud was one of the categories. L. Ron Hubbard was near the top of this list, until allegedly a threat from the church of scientology got Time to drop his name.

Time magazine, at this point, showed a disclaimer on the polls that stated that religious figures were immune to the top fraud of the century polls--a shill of a reason. Nevertheless, the Church of the Subgenius had J. R. Bob Dobbs listed in the polls, and for some reason, his name was not removed. Instead of the Subgenii "taking it off", they were the ones promoting Bob's presence in the polls, and from here Bob Dobbs took off, hitting first place.

So it turned out Time magazine was conned by the greatest con ever to exist--J. R. Bob Dobbs, who does not even exist--to be listed as the Top Fraud of the Century. You can find Time Magazine's official comments on the matter somewhere on the web, and they spin this to make it look like they are aware of this fact, but, well, hindsight is everything I guess.

And yes, I remember voting for Dobbs here.

When I first saw the pen, I immediately scrolled up to see if it had been pwning a sword.

Even though that's actually an urban myth(both space programs originally used pencils and then switched to the privately-made Fisher Pen because broken-off graphite lead != good), here:

Dixon Ticonderoga == teh best pencil evar.

One time on an exam in college there was a problem with tons of givens quantities and two blank pages given for work. I solved it in two lines using only a few of the quantities, and wrote under my solution, "(The Russians used a pencil?)". It turns out that all that extra stuff was deliberately put there to throw people off.

This pen is made of metal. But it has no ink. Or lead. Or anything. But it works. It's pretty much the raddest writing utensil ever.
