Calvinball 2.0

Postby Chfan » Fri Jan 16, 2009 8:10 pm UTC

Apparently there was a Calvinball game going on a little while ago, but it got lost in the shuffle of the fora, so with games of Nomic, Mornington Crescent, and 1,000 Blank White Cards in full swing, I figured the fora could use some more Calvinball.

Rules:

1. The game cannot be played the same way twice.

2. Don't question the masks.

All players are standing in a suburban area of some sort. I have the Calvinball. For every hour that passes before someone posts, I get a point. If a mod decides to lock this thread they win.

Go!

I declare it a new rule that t here should be no tackling anymore!
oh, and it should be changed so that it's for every hour that passes, the person holding the ball gets a point, not just you, if you're halding the ball.

Until I throw this metal object into the Magnet Zone, thus nullifying it's effect. Then I'll just Tickle the ninja until he lets go of the ball. No tickling is allowed anymore.

It's been five minutes. I am now declaring that the next person to post here gets Q points and is the Master of the Calvinball for an hour. (You decide what that means.)

I decide it means that I get the calvinball for an hour, and no one can take it from me in any way. This rule can not be overturned at all. I also get 20 points per minute, as long as I'm holding the calvinball.

For overturning an Un-Overturnable Rule, you go to the Time- Out Zone for five hours and give me the Calvinball. Ninja, for attempting to make an Un-Overturnable Rule, you must fight to the death with maseiken. Good luck.

I get 46 Diplomat points.

hold on...
Maseiken posted almost exactly 12 hours after me. 12 hours times 60 minutes per hour equals 720 minutes in 12 hours. 720 minus 1 (because he posted one minute before exactly 12 hours after my post) equals 719 minutes. 719 minutes times 20 points per minute (as a stated in my new rule) equals 14380 points. 14380 points plus the Q points I got earlier equals 14380Q. I think I can safely say that I'm winning.
Oh, and I kick Maseiken in the balls and step out of the timeout zone.

Ah, but you were only Master of the Calvinball for one hour, therefore the maximum amount of points you could have earned is 1200 points! Plus the one point per hour as originally stated, so you would have 1859 points. Due to such a fail, you are sucked into the Osmosis Zone, which means I get points equal to your points times one half of the number of minutes that have passed before your next post. This is only effective as long as I do not have the Calvinball, however.

I said 20 points per minute as long as I'm holding the ball, not as long as I'm master of it. My points still stand. Since you made this error, any points you just gained are lost, and all the rules you just made are nullified. Also, for using the word 'fail' seriously, you have to go into the timeout zone, and finish my fight with Maseiken, who isn't dead yet, just in sever pain from being kicked in the balls.

I hit the Drain switch, and everyone's points go back to zero.

I then grab the Revenge Flag and stab Camoninja with it. The first one to make it to the end of the street gets an undisclosed amount of points, awarded from every other player's pocket.

I run with the calvinball toward the end of the street.

I state that four is less than zero, rendering Bizarro World logically unstable, sucking all of us into Bizarro World. Upon our entry, we are sucked into Bizarro World, and continue looping until all sanity is lost. The Calvinball is shot into an indeterminate point in DAH FYOOCHAH, and logic no longer exists. Also, Camoninja gains 20 points, itaibn takes the lead, and I dissolve into mental waves.

Baieshmuf, logic doesn't exist in this game anyway. For misunderstanding, I decree you are sent to the Leglocked Zone until someone other than yourself decides to release you.

As nobody knows where the Calvinball has gone, we must all jump roll around using barrels until somebody finds it.
