Golem Creation is offensive
there will be a discussion thread shortly... hopefully. Use the original megacity thread for discussion, to avoid OOC talk.
Name: Ivanovic Petrovski
-Gravity Manipulation (O): The abiltiy to create artificial gravity fields at any arbitrary point or field, at any strength. Can be used up to a range of 100m. fields can be directional, but are limited in size to a few square meters. Controlled black holes are possible, but will quickly dissipate, as well as wormholes (that lasts only a few seconds)
-Electro-magnetism manipulation (D): The ability to manipulate electricity and magnetism. Can generate arbitrary points where a controlled magnetic field can attract objects. The magnetic lines can also be controlled to attract only specific items. Only affects iron, cobalt, and nickle (and resulting products). This power can also allow for small area bursts of an EMP. Electron flow control is also possible, but is not powerful enough to generate arcs of electricity. Finally, this allows for manipulation of the polarity of polar molecules, such as water, to attract or repulse other polar molecules (allowing for levitation on water, as people are mostly water, and are thus, capable of being polarized). This, however, takes concentration, and has a radius of 3 meters.
Bio: Ivanovic was an engineer in Canada, and was sent to Antarctica to help do some work at the Antarctica Base "Hospitality" for the construction of the bio dome. He is one of the only people capable of controlling the robots, who can do the work by themselves, but some problems at 'Hospitality' have required Ivanovic to go down there to control them from the base. He is intelligent, and inventive.
Items: Parka, high-powered laptop, backpack with blueprints, and tools. Also, several physics books, a compass, maps, and a gps.
Chapter 1: The crash
September 17th, 2050
Ivanovich looked out the window on the modified jet. It felt relatively comfortable inside the jet, which held about 30 people, while a blizzard raged outside. Off in the distance, Ivan could see what little of the Southern Lights made it through the snow storm. Ivan went back to his book.
He glanced about breifly, noting some of the people on the plane. A few were talking, some reading, some sleeping. Ivan decided to put down his book. He got up to put it away, and just as he was about to sit down again, the plane dropped 200m, causing Ivan to crash into the ceiling, and then the floor. He crawled to his seat, as the plane tossed and turned, the seatbelt lights went up. The speakers went on, and the captain said "We appear to be having some turbulence. We suggest everyone stays in their seat. We are also almost at..." the plane rolled upside down briefly as Ivan got his seat belt on, but righted itself. Ivan's ears popped, and the oxygen masks dropped. while strapping his in, the plane dropped, rose again, then dropped more intensely, until a loud 'bang' was heard, as the plane bounced off the ground. Looking out the window, Ivan saw that the plane, which had a mostly flat bottom, did what it was designed to do, which was to use it's mostly flat body design, not the normal cylindrical design, to spread out the impact of the crash to minimize damage. he sighed in relief, until a giant rock crashed into one of the wings, causing it to go flying. The left side of the plane bounced off another, causing the plane to be scraping along the side that Ivan was on. the plane then turned sideways, still gliding, but Ivan's eyes went wide when he saw 2 rocks jutting out, and they were in line with Ivan. The last thing he heard before blacking out...
... waking up, Ivan found himself under a peice of the plane, with a few light wounds. Looking out the window next to him, he saw that the plane had broken in half, and had spun out of control, but had crashed into a large snowbank, so that the plane was a silhouette in the snow storm. Ivan shivered, he was only in his t-shirt, so he crawled out of his temporary shelter to open up the secure baggage compartment to get his warmer clothing. After putting on a sweater and a parka, he looked around. On his immediate left was the rock that hit him, on his right was the sillouette of the rest of the plane, but in front of him... was the sillouette of the partially built biodome, which meant the base, along with shelter, wasn't very far. Ivan was relieved by his luck, and began to scavange the wreckage for survivors and supplies.
