"Whenever this creature destroys a creature" is a trigger condition that can't be met*. What I've replaced it with is probably what you want, since I think you mean for this ability to trigger whenever equipped creature "kills" a creature in combat. Also I've highlighted "owner" because I think you might want "controller", but I don't know the flavor of "Incarnadine" so I might be wrong.

(That is a rather disappointing academy. I would probably only attend it if it were something more along the lines of "Blue spells cost one blue mana less to cast for each card in your hand over three." or something of that nature, something that really gets the flavor of having lots and lots of ideas at your disposal).

That doesn't quite work, though, because lands can be modified to produce more, fewer, or different colors of mana. But that raises a question about your original intent: If you have a basic land named "Island", whose only basic land type is "mountain", and which can only produce green mana, what color token should it produce?

@Burning Led: Amusingly, when I first saw that unit in the editor, I understood the reference, but I had completely forgot it when I went to make the card (would have thrown in a "next time ... discards a card ... into hand instead" sort of deal)

At the beginning of your upkeep, place a -1/-1 counter onto enchanted creature.
All creatures which enchanted creature's controller controls take X damage at the beginning of your upkeep, where X is the number of -1/-1 counters on enchanted creature. Enchanted creature's controller may pay X*2 mana to prevent this ability.
