The Cure for Procrastination

Postby darkspork » Tue Mar 31, 2009 5:48 am UTC

1) Tell the person above you to do the thing he/she should be doing.
2) Explain what you should be doing.
3) Don't post again after being told to do the thing you should be doing until the thing you should be doing is done.

I should really do my Calculus review sheet and then go to bed, because it's 1:47AM and I have a test tomorrow.

Do the thing that you should be doing.

I should be working on my essay, which is overdue.

Take a warm bath and sit down and write. :)

I should be working on poetry or some digital art.

Meh, lay in bed and watch some television until you get sleepy...also, I take a warm, cozy bath every night, it helps me greatly. :)

I need to go to bed too... =/

Also, I've posted 28 times, why is my post count at 7? :S

Posts in Forum Games don't count.

Go to bed, you lazy-- erm, overly-awake wiggleworm!

Get back to your artistry. It sounds like a fun project. (At least it should be more fun than my Calculus homework was.) I should be either working on my essay revision or sleeping.

A short one? Dude, take out Notepad, and write, and when you're done write it on paper! Except if you don't type fast on PCs, then take out another sheet of paper.

I should start working on a DS game. (Well, actually I am, but i'm working so much it's called procrastination anyway xD)

Stop working so hard and go play xbox 360? (if working too much is the problem, btw, wtf how?)

I should be paying attention in class. <.<

Edit: Who wrote that? I totally and completely did not write that

Too bad. Pay attention in class!

I should be studying for a test even though I'll almost certainly ace it without studying for it (I almost always do)

Read ONE chapter of a good book, then go do some of your homework, then make some coffee, then finish your homework. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

I should be finishing my chem assignments. :-/

Im guessing you either have finished working on your english, or its to late to start. Either way you should always do your homework in plenty of time. Its gets you ready to be an adult.

I should stop being hyprocritical and work.

So work...? NAO!

I should really stop lying compulsively to everyone that actually cares about me and ruining my relationships because I want attention from people that I love.

Find a quiet place with no distractions and do eet.

I really need to practice on my piano, I have a competition in three days and I can't even get one of the scale patterns down...
Or something to that effect. Hell, I don't know.

practice your piano, then some more. In fact don't even post on these forums until you find a way to musically represent pi to 100 digits on your piano, you may want to make that optional however...

I really should be posting on a forum for curing procrastination right now...

Listen to your Prof.
If she is treating you like the child she loves, she must care about teaching you, respect that. Even if it's a pain, it's what she knows.

I should be having a smoke and enjoying the warm day, but i'm busy working.
