Currently under my posterior. (Yep, the computer is beside the couch. It was supposed to be a temporary arrangement, but it's been at least a year now...)

A bowl of something (already filled, no fair running to dump something into a bowl)?

I'm afraid not.

Also, poxic, that doesn't sound like such a bad arrangement. . .

Yeah, the mic on my headphones :(

also, my computer is next to a sofa too, and it has this little disadvantage of having to turn your head 60 degrees to see the monitor. Bad headache for the first few weeks when i moved to this position

Nope. There is a working webmike around here somewhere, though.

And yeah, the couch thing isn't optimal. I can see the monitor without turning my head very much, but the mouse placement is problematic. I'll eventually have to finish cleaning out the den and get the computer back on the desk if I don't want long-term tendon problems, I think.

Something that badly needs cleaning?

We have some really old computers that are full of dust in the basement.

as long as i am alone on the couch, the mouse isn't a problem because I am on the far left and am right handed, so it is just on the cusion next to me, but i cant use it at all if someone sits there.

Wow. Probably not possible. The first person I got asked me ASL and logged off. If you want to meet people on the internet omegle is almost certainly not the place. O well.

Write a haiku. So that you don't have to waste 10 seconds finding out what a haiku is, it's a poem with three lines, typically about nature with the first and last lines having 5 syllables and the middle line having 7.

Peace

Edit: Not bad. Even if it did take 30 seconds.
